Towne and Country Colonial was recommended to us in 1980. We had bought a 2,700 sq. ft. house plus basement in Glen Ellyn that had been built in 1914. Over the next 35 years they remodeled and decorated every room in that house. They built a deck, a screened porch and installed a planting shed in the back yard. They also did many maintenance and upkeep projects including building a custom cabinet to match existing bookcases.
In 2016 we moved to an 1,800 square foot condo on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. It is in an older building which has some unique structural components and regulations. Towne and Country Colonial gutted our condo and did a complete remodeling and decorating project, including moving walls to create a new room and other spaces. Our experience with Towne and Country Colonial has been consistent. For each project they set up timely appointments, arrived promptly, listened closely and noted each item in discussion. They offered sound solutions for what and how to achieve the results we wanted. A few days later they sent a clear, concise, and fair proposal. In the summer of 2014, we bought our 1970's built condominium. We have spent the time since then with the Towne and Country Colonial as they helped us bring our condo into this millennium. We feel so fortunate to have found them through a mutual acquaintance. They have remodeled 3 bathrooms, done a total renovation of the kitchen including partial removal of a wall, put in all new hardwood doors and built in a large walk-in-closet in the master-bedroom. We were able to live in our condo through it all! They totally closed off all areas of renovation as they worked and as they left each day the areas were cleaned and all the debris removed and taken away. The workers were friendly, conscientious and on time each day. Our projects were finished on time or ahead of schedule. We can't say "thank you" enough to Mike Brown and all his crew. We now have a lovely up to date home which is totally functional!

Towne and Country Colonial did a wonderful job remodeling our townhouse from top to bottom. They completely renovated three bathrooms and the kitchen. During the fall of 2016, Towne and Country Colonial did both interior and exterior work for us. The attention to detail by was exemplary. Everything was done according to the proposals. If something had to be re-scheduled, I was told about it in advance. The workers arrived on time and finished projects on schedule. They protected furniture and cleaned up at the end of each day. Work was done well; nothing was left undone. They did frequent supervisory visits, but also came by after the work was completed to make sure we were satisfied. We were so satisfied, in fact, that we have asked Towne and Country Colonial to do some more work for us this coming spring.
